Singapore, 5 April, 2002 - The Computer Systems Division (CSD) of Toshiba Singapore Pte Ltd introduced Online Warranty Registration for all Toshiba computer products users. With the introduction of a unique Identification Number on the new warranty registration card, Toshiba users will now be able to directly access the website at:

Warranty registration information a click away
"With online registration, new warranty users can look forward to quicker response time on service issues, eliminating the traditional lead time, personal costs like postage stamps and any need for proof of purchase documents," Lim Poh Chuan, Technical Services Manager, Computer Systems Division. Upon the successful submission of the user's registered information, an instantaneous acknowledgement, in the form of an e-mail, will be routed back to the user's attention immediately. Users may then like to review their registered information, at the warranty status lookup at: http://pc.toshiba-asia.com/warrantycheckstatus.
Users can now obtain instant updates of warranty entitlements, e.g. warranty extensions, ScreenGuard program and enhanced services worldwide from Toshiba's extensive service network of Authorized Service Providers (ASP) by locating their nearest ASP at: http://pc.toshiba-asia.com/support/providers.html.

Peace of mind assurance
Armed with just the product's model and serial numbers located at the base, users can confidently walk in to any ASP worldwide offices for no-questions-asked request for warranty repairs or any other service issues, e.g. hardware defect and repairs.
